Hêja was born in Kurdistan. She started making music with Band of Folklor Club at Boğaziçi University. At the same time she focused on Kurdish Literature. When she was arrested for political reasons she learned playing guitar and she started making her own songs. Now she is living in Hamburg, Germany. She wants to meet other musicians an make music with them.
